NEW ASU/Mayo Clinic Study for MPN Patients

ASU, The Mayo Clinic and University of TX are looking for MPN patients for a new study on non-pharmacologic strategies to reduce fatigue. Basically from what we can see on the sources that we have found, they plan to use a few different mobile apps and a FitBit along with Yoga in order to see if yoga and meditation can help with the fatigue associated with MPNs.

You can read more about the study at these three sources.

If you are interested in learning more about or joining this study, please contact us by phone (602-827-2314), email mpnpilotapp@asu.edu or visit this link to complete eligibility survey: http://bit.ly/mpnpilotapp (case sensitive)

I just signed up to participate, if anything can possibly help I am all for trying it.

Just wanted to make an update here. I applied to participate in this study and I got an email back stating that they are a bit backed up on requests.

Here is their reply to my application.

"Dear Chris

Thank you for your interest in this research study. Due to the overwhelmingly positive response for participation, we are requiring some additional time in order to get back to you on a first come, first serve basis. We will be in touch within the next two weeks regarding your status in this study. Thank you for your continued patience.

If you have any questions or concerns, or if you are no longer interested, please contact us at mpnpilotapp@asu.edu

Thank you"
